Die alljährlichen Horst Falck Pokalturniere fanden auch dieses Jahr wieder in unserem Clubheim statt.
Insgesamt wurden zwei Standardturniere auf unserem Pakett ausgetragen. Die Turniertänzer konnten sich zwischen den Runden einmal kurz Pause machen und unserem lateinamerikanischen Showact von unserem neuen Lateinturnierpaar Sascha Mau und Hanna Ludwig zuschauen. die beiden tanzen erst seit Februar diesen Jahres zusammen und feierten bei diesem Auftritt beim Horst Falck Pokalturnier ihr gemeinsames Debüt auf der Tanzfläche.
Nicht nur für unsere Lateiner war dieses Turnier von großer Bedeutung, sondern auch von unserem Standardturnierpaar Hans-Hermann und Gisela Schmidt, denn sie feierten beim Horst Falck Pokalturnier am 01.05.2019 ein Jubiläum. Seit diesem Tag an sind es ganze 50 Jahre, die die Eheleute Schmidt als Turniertänzer zusammen getanzt haben und dann auch noch durchgehend 50 Jahre lang für den TTC Elmshorn gestartet sind. Soetwas ist einmalig und muss von uns geehrt werden! Herzlichen Glückwunsch an dieser Stelle!
Die Turniere gingen erfolgreich für unseren Verein weiter, denn vom TTC Elmshorn waren beim Turnier der Senioren IV S Standard drei Turnierpaare an den Start gegangen. Sie erreichten von 20 angestretenen Paaren folgende Plätze:
Ehepaar Brandes tanzten sich in die Endrunde und erreichten einen tollen 4. Platz.
Ehepaar Schmidt ertanzten sich den 12. Platz und
Ehepaar Fiebelkorn erreichten den 14. Platz.
